2. Your questionnaire answers
The single most important thing on this page
Everything you type into the questionnaire or the eligibility check is processed entirely within your own browser using JavaScript running on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party. We have no ability to read, retrieve, store or recover it.
That includes, but is not limited to:
- Your entity's legal name, EIN, addresses and formation details
- The owner's name, address, country, citizenship and any tax identification number
- All transaction amounts, asset values and descriptions you enter
- Every answer you give in the eligibility check
The generated Form 5472 draft, pro forma Form 1120 and instructions are also assembled on your device. The PDF and zip files are built in your browser's memory and saved directly to your own storage. No copy passes through us.
What this means for you. Your tax information is as private as anything else on your own computer. It also means we cannot recover your answers if you clear your browser data — there is no backup on our side. Save your files after purchase.
3. Local storage on your device
So that you can leave and return without retyping, the site stores two items in your browser's
localStorage:

Local storage lives on your device only. It is not a cookie, is not sent with web requests, and is not visible to us or to any other website. It persists until you remove it.
You can clear it at any time using the "Start over" button on the tool, or by clearing site data in your browser settings. Note that clearing it also removes the purchase flag, which will lock the download functions in that browser.
4. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages people read, where they arrive from, and where they stop. This helps us decide what to write next and what to fix.
What is collected by the analytics service:
- Pages viewed, and the order and timing of views
- Approximate location derived from IP address, typically at city or country level
- Device type, browser, operating system and screen size
- Referring website or search engine, where available
- Interaction events such as starting the questionnaire, expanding a section, or beginning checkout
What analytics never receives
None of your questionnaire content. Interaction events record that a step was completed — never what was entered. No entity name, EIN, address, figure or eligibility answer is ever included in an analytics event.
Google Analytics sets cookies or equivalent identifiers to distinguish sessions. You can block them with browser settings, an extension, or Google's own opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics does not affect any functionality on this site. Google's handling of the data it receives is governed by its own privacy policy.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Gumroad, acting as merchant of record. When you proceed to checkout you leave this site for their hosted checkout page.
- We never receive or store your card details. They are handled entirely by Gumroad and their payment partners.
- Gumroad collects the information it needs to process the payment, calculate applicable tax and issue your receipt — typically your email address, billing country and payment details.
- As merchant of record they may be required to retain transaction records for tax and accounting purposes.
- We can see aggregate sales information in their dashboard, which may include purchaser email addresses and countries for transaction records. We do not use these for marketing.
- Their processing is governed by their own privacy policy and terms.
Your purchase is not linked to your questionnaire answers. There is no account, and no record on our side connecting a payment to the contents of any document.
6. Other third-party services

The PDF and archive libraries are loaded only when you request a download, and they run in your browser. The library is fetched from the CDN; your document is not sent to it.
7. Hosting and server logs
Like essentially all websites, our hosting provider records technical information about requests for security, abuse prevention and operational purposes. This typically includes IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, user agent and referrer. These are standard server logs retained for a limited period under the provider's own policies. We do not use them to build profiles of individuals.
8. If you email us
If you contact us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to include. We use it solely to respond, and we retain correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose and for any record-keeping obligation.
Please do not send us your EIN, full entity details, financial figures or copies of tax documents. We do not need them, we cannot advise on them, and email is not a secure channel. If a question requires that information to answer, it is an advisory question for a qualified US tax professional rather than for us.
We do not operate a mailing list and will not add you to marketing communications.
9. Legal bases for processing
Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or similar regimes apply, our legal bases are:
- Legitimate interests — server logs for security and operation; aggregate analytics to improve the site; responding to your correspondence
- Contract — processing necessary to complete a purchase you have initiated
- Consent — where required in your jurisdiction for non-essential analytics cookies, which you may withhold or withdraw through your browser or an extension without losing functionality
Note that your questionnaire answers are not processed by us at all, in the data-protection sense. They remain on your device under your control.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. If you are in California or another US state with comparable legislation, you may have rights to know what is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing.
An honest note about exercising those rights
Because we hold no accounts and no customer database, and because your questionnaire answers never reach us, there is generally nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. Where we do hold something — your email if you wrote to us — we will act on a request. For payment records, contact Gumroad as merchant of record. For analytics data, contact Google or use their opt-out. We do not sell or share personal information.
11. How to delete your data
- Your answers and purchase flag: click "Start over" on the tool, or clear site data for this domain in your browser settings. This is immediate and complete.
- Analytics data: clear cookies for this site, and install Google's opt-out browser add-on or block analytics with an extension.
- Payment records: contact Gumroad, subject to the records they must retain for tax purposes.
- Email correspondence: ask us and we will delete the thread.
12. Children
This service is intended for adults conducting business and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
13. International transfers
We are established in Israel, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection. The third-party services described above are operated by companies that may process data in the United States and elsewhere; where personal data is transferred internationally, those providers rely on their own transfer mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses.
Because your questionnaire answers stay on your own device and are never transmitted to us, they are not transferred anywhere by us at all.
14. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the site or in applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
